How does value in the SCHONLY field on the CA-7 BASE CALENDAR MAINTENANCE (DB.2.8) screen affect scheduling?
The SCHONLY field on the DB.2.8 screen can determine how a schedule day is chosen when using the CA-7 CPU JOB SCHEDULING PARAMETER EDIT (DB.2.1-E) screen MONTHLY RDAY field.
If you use a calendar that has SCHONLY: Y, the MONTHLY RDAY field counts available scheduling days only. If you use a calendar that has SCHONLY: N, the MONTHLY RDAY field counts days of month. In other words, this schedule (from the DB.2.1-E screen):
__ X __ MONTHLY JAN: X FEB: X MAR: X APR: X MAY: X JUN: X
JUL: X AUG: X SEP: X OCT: X NOV: X DEC: X
WEEK: DAY-OF-WEEK:
RDAY: 3
works differently when using different calendars.
Using a calendar with SCHONLY: N creates a schedule for the 3rd calendar day of every month.
Using a calendar with SCHONLY: Y creates a schedule for the 3rd working day of every month.
