Issue/Introduction

How is an ACF2 SCOPE record defined to specify USER profile records?  I created a SCOPE record with INF(PUSRxx-) for userids that begin with xx, but it doesn't seem to be working.  What am I doing wrong?

Resolution

Profile records include the DIVISION as part of the key, so you need the class (P), the type (USR), the DIVISION (xxxxxxxx), followed by the mask for the userids to be included in the scope. If the DIVISION (CERTDATA/OMVS/NETVIEW/OPERPARM/etc) is irrelevant, it can be masked also. In this case the SCOPE record would specify INF(PUSR********xx-), where the ******** (8 *'s) represents the division.
