Only 25 Task Dependency Lines are displayed for a specific Task

Issue/Introduction

When trying to draw a dependency line to a task where a dependency line is not shown, the following Toast Message appears:

'PRJ-07600: Cannot create the dependency as it would result in a circular reference.' 

 

On the Modern UX, TASKS Module Timeline layout, the user only sees 25 dependency lines on a Task that may have more than 25 dependencies. If the other dependency lines are NOT displayed the user will attempt to add the line again and thus can cause a Toast Message to display. If the project is opened in PPM Gantt, you will see the missing dependency lines are there. Also, the Successors field on the specific task that has more than 25 dependency lines is only showing the first 25 Rows or WBS numbers. 

Steps to Reproduce: 

1. Create a Project that has 30 tasks in the Tasks Timeline layout
2. Add the 'Successors' field to the layout 
3. Create a 'Starting Task' and draw dependency lines from this Starting Task to each of the 30 Tasks 
4. While the user is on the Timeline and the page has not been refreshed, all 30 dependency lines are showing 
5. Navigate away and back to the Timeline 
6. Check and see that Tasks 26-30 should display the dependency lines (but they are not shown) 
7. Check the 'Starting Tasks 'Successors' field shows all dependent Rows or WBS numbers (but they are not shown) 
8. Try to draw the dependency line again for Tasks 26-30 

Expected Results: The user should see all dependency lines because both tasks are in the results. The Successors field should show all successor Row or WBS numbers. 

Actual Results: Only the first 25 dependency lines are displayed for that task.  Only 25 Rows or WBS are displayed in the Successors field on the specific task. If the user attempts to draw the same dependency line again, the following Toast Message appears. 'PRJ-07600: Cannot create the dependency as it would result in a circular reference.'

Workaround: When a Task has more than 25 dependent tasks, use PPM Gantt to view them.
