Unable to model some APC UPS devices in Spectrum using SNMP V3

Issue/Introduction

We have several APC UPS devices in the network. All are configured for SNMP V3. We are able to model some of them in Spectrum using SNMP V3 but not others.

All devices have been configured for using the same SNMP V3 credentials.

Environment

Release : 21.2

Component : Spectrum Discovery

Cause

The ones that are not modeling in Spectrum using SNMP V3 have an older version of firmware installed.

The one that are modeling in Spectrum using SNMP V3 have an older version of firmware installed.

Resolution

Upgrade firmware on the devices that are unable to model in Spectrum using SNMP v3.
