Issue/Introduction

Web and Cloud Access Protection (WCAP / Traffic Redirection) policies may disable themselves after recent update cloud-side to Endpoint Security, and the Proxy auto-configuration (PAC) file URL set blank. In some cases this may result in clients losing access to networking because of the blank PAC file URL.

Cause

Symantec is aware of this issue and is investigating

Resolution

Re-enable the affected WCAP policies and be careful to replace the missing PAC file URL before saving and applying them to device groups.

This issue has been addressed otherwise with ICDm production refresh 2022.07 which was completed August 25, 2022.
