Create Group against Mac Addresses

Issue/Introduction

We have cape sensors (aka uxi).  These are connected via an ethernet cable to an available cisco switch port so it could be on any port.  Is it possible for me to create a group that contains these sensors?  These devices are not directly polled by capm.  So I'd like a group that contains the switch interfaces that are upstream to the physical cape sensor.

-They all have a unique mac address (20:4c:03:66:8c:52). can we match against the first 6 of the mac?

-Do you have any other techniques to identify these devices to create rule to have them added?

Resolution

Since the MAC is on the cape sensor and they are not discovered CAPM would have no way to even know that MAC address and without knowing the address there would be no way to make a group using it.
