Plex dispatcher compilation overrides

Issue/Introduction

We would like to be able to specify overrides for the IBMi CRTxxx compilation commands that Plex uses to compile different kinds of objects. For example, CRTBNDRPG, CRTSQLRPGI(all of them are defined in PLEX721/PLEX730 YKTRCMSG message file). It is assumed Plex takes the parameter definitions from there when it compiles certain objects.

Is it possible to override at function level the parameters defined by default by Plex in that file?

 

Environment

CA Plex 7.2.1 and higher

Resolution

Plex does not store the compiler overrides as part of the model. Therefore, direct function level override is not possible.

However, Plex System I compiler overrides can be achieved at the model level by using different (with modified compiler message file) job descriptions
