CMN-0020 The currency for 'xxxxx' attribute is missing or has invalid value

Issue/Introduction

Our Clarity system currency is set to EUR.
We have created a Money type custom attribute with an USD currency at the Change Request object
When populating the field for first time on the CR Details flyout we get the following error:
CMN-0020 The currency for 'xxxxx' attribute is missing or has invalid value 

Resolution

This is not reproducible in 16.0.2 and is addressed through DE64279

Workaround: 

Populate the field on the grid
OR
Add a default value to the Money type attribute
