Harvester degraded in System Status for a standalone NFA machine

Issue/Introduction

Harvester status is 'Unknown' under Netops Portal for a standalone NFA Environment, even though the Reporter is listed as 'Running'.

 

Environment

Component : NQRASA - NETQOS RA STAND ALONE

Cause

SNMP Service under "Services.msc" was not set to "Accept packets from any host" and did not contain the IP address of the standalone machine.

Resolution

The SNMP service on the harvester machine had "Accept packets from" set to 'Localhost'.

Even thought this is a standalone machine, we need to either set this to "Accept packets from any hosts", or specifically add the IP address of the NFA Console machine to the "Accept Packets" list.
