SO13550 was applied some time ago to avoid this problem.
Why the abend is still produced?
Release : 16.0
Component : Top Secret for z/OS
SO13550 limits the amount of output only in the $$$LOG$$ spooled output file to 5 million lines.
When CPF journal files are allocated to Spool any of these journal files may reach the limit of lines or Bytes and the abend ABEND S722 will be produced.
If possible, recycle the Top Secret task on a regular basis.
If not possible to recycle TSS then use JES2 exit 9 which allows sites to make decisions on whether or not to cancel jobs that reach one of the limits.
