Issue/Introduction

Control Compliance Suite - When user launches the console, they get an error.

When trying to install the Console they are seeing the same error.

ERROR DETAILS
 Following errors were detected during this operation.
 * [6/16/2022 1:03:28 PM] System.IO.FileNotFoundException
  - The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)
  - Source: System.Deployment

 

Environment

Release: CCS 12.5.x & CCS 12.6.x

 

Cause

This was happening due to a corrupt user profile.

Resolution

Delete the current user profile, after the user logs back in a new profile will get created.

Once the new profile is creating try installing the CCS Console once more.

The installation will now be successful, and will now launch without any issues.
