Issue/Introduction

Started task BUNLSRT1 receives multiple dynamic allocation errors with all reports coming and their BUNDLSER for Bundl abended for several hours.

Resolution

Regarding generation of the LDM0418E message, the client found that there is a backup job that runs backups for two L-SERVs, that run in another LPAR on the same sysplex, that were holding the BUNDL VSAM files:

 xxxxxxxx.BUNDL.DPM*

The procedure was:

 . Stop the second L-SERV.

 . Allow the backup job to finish.

 . Start up the two L-SERVs and two BUNDLs.
