Life Cycle State from PM to Spectrum

Issue/Introduction

Device life cycle state changes in NetOps Portal and changes the device's state in Spectrum.

Environment

PM 21.2.1+

Cause

You don't want that the Spectrum OneClick to be updated when PC UI changes the lifecycle state

 

Resolution

You can set the LifeCycleStateSyncToSpectrum general table setting to false.

Default is true:

select attribute,value from netqosportal.general where attribute="LifeCycleStateSyncToSpectrum";

replace into netqosportal.general values ('LifeCycleStateSyncToSpectrum', 'false');

Symptom:
 Device life cycle state changes in NetOps Portal changes the device's state in Spectrum. 
Resolution:
 With this fix, to prevent Device life cycle state changes in NetOps Portal from changing the device's state in Spectrum, you can set the LifeCycleStateSyncToSpectrum general table setting to false.
