Harvest 14.0.2 Git How to create a branch

Issue/Introduction

How do we create a Branch?  Every time we commit it is creating a new package in **** branch.  Is there a process to create a branch repository using git?

Component : CA HARVEST SCM CORE FUNCTIONALITY/PROCESS AUTOMATION

Resolution

Provided a patched git hook (pre-push) to the customer which is more robust and would allow user to create new branches and sync them seamlessly.
