Issue/Introduction

A new database shows a multiple capture of a View report, but this activity is not reflected in the View database or Deliver history.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : Deliver

Resolution

The client had the following RMOPARMs in use:

ARCH=0
ARCH1=DIRECT//SYS2.DRASSYS2.VIEWSARP
ARCH2=K///D
ARCH8=A/SARPPDF/
ARCH9=A/SARPUSP/
JOBCLSL=ABCDEIJKMNOPQRSTUWX012345
SYSCLSL=DEFIJLOPQRSTNY4569
NETCLSL=7/X
NETDEST=RMOSTAR
NETFORM=
NETONLY=NO

From the parameters, it was confirmed that the vast majority of the View/Deliver processing is pre-spool for the input (JOBCLSL and SYSCLSL) and direct-writing for the output (ARCH1=DIRECT[/...]).

In Deliver, there was one Distribution ID (GLOBAL) that had an "Out" field of "Y", which means a report printing.

For that Distribution ID, the "Copies" field was "1" which means only one copy was printed.

Report history showed that there were reports processed prior to, on, and after 5/27.

As only the 5/27 instance resulted in more than one report being transferred, any conclusion was hard to draw.

The processing of the report in question was on 5/27/22 at 00:13.

The reports that had been transferred, though showing 5/27/22, showed times of 01:14 and 01:17 (both over an hour past the time that the report was processed).

Overall, no conclusion could be drawn on the matter.
