Unable to open cost plans depending on displayed columns

Issue/Introduction

Cost plans cannot be opened if certain columns are not present on the Cost Plan grid. An error "13 Periods and Semi Monthly cost plans are not supported. Please go to Classic PPM to view them." is shown and context menu does not work.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. In the Modern UX, open the Financials module to show the Cost Plans.
  2. Identify one cost plan that has a Monthly Period Type.
  3. In the Cost Plans grid, hide all columns except for Name and ID.
  4. Log out from Clarity and log back in.
  5. Try to open the cost plan from Step 2 by clicking on its name.

Expected Results: Cost Plan is displayed.

Actual Results: Cost Plan is not displayed. Error is shown: "13 Periods and Semi Monthly cost plans are not supported. Please go to Classic PPM to view them."

 

  1. Right click on the cost plan name.

Expected Results: Context menu is displayed.

Actual Results: Context menu is not displayed, an message "Loading Data... Please wait" is displayed instead.

Workaround: Add 'Period Type', 'Start Period' and/or 'Finish Period' columns to the Cost Plan grid.

This issue has been fixed in Clarity 16.0.3.

Additional Information

Additionally, if the Start Period is added, but the Finish Period is missing, the Context menu loads, but the Copy action does not work
