With the recent security issue around SMBv1 is it safe to disable SMB?

Security issue with SMBv1 ( CVE-2020-1301 )
Disable SMBv1 is allowed. Once disabled, Go to Package Service Setting and uncheck 'Publish UNC Codebase'. With UNC codebases unchecked, HTTP or HTTPS codebases must be enabled for Package distribution.
