UIM 20.4 / CU1 - OC login page load very slow

Issue/Introduction

 

After the upgrade to 20.4, it is taking a very long time waiting for OC to show up. Connecting locally (from the OC server itself), it works fine.

The issue is that the machines they are having this issue on are not connected to the internet.

It was found out that, in the operatorconsole_portlet 20.40, the file standalone_login.jsp file has the url https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans
the Operator Console tries to load this URL before the OC Login Page appears. The customers OC Clients do not have Internet Access so loading of this page fails.

In previous OC operatorconsole_portlet 20.10HF8 this URL does not exist and there for the OC login page opens straight away.

 

Is there a way to bypass this?

Resolution

UIM 20.4 CU2 contains the fix for this issue. --> Operator Console 20.4 - Cumulative Update 2

Was removed from the standalone_login.jsp file of the latest operatorconsole_portlet
