Issue/Introduction

At the time of Policy Install in VPM, the following Warning and Optimizer, which were not displayed in SGOS6.7, are now displayed after upgrading to 7.3.

Warning: Unreachable rule, conditions will be matched by a preceding rule:
Optimizer: reducing constant false rule
Please tell me if there are any changes from 7.3.

Then, when I reviewed the Policy and dealt with Warning, Optimizer: was not output even though nothing was changed.
Why is this?

Resolution

Regarding the Warning: Unreachable rule, message, what's new in SGOS 7.3.1.1

If the layer contains rules with the same conditions due to "Policy Compile Behavior Changes"

It is now displayed as a Warning message.

This is because "Optimizer: reducing constant false rule" is not a Warring or Error.

Actually, it always occurs every time Policy is loaded, but in the dialog box to install Policy etc.

Only when a Warring or Error warning occurs will a dialog box be displayed for information.

Click GUI> Statistics> Advanced> Policy> Results of policy load and you will see that the Optimizer continues to be displayed.
