Issue/Introduction

DCS Agent does not show in the Windows Add/Remove Programs list  

Environment

Release : DCS 6.x

Component : DCS Agent on Windows

Resolution

 

DCS Agent does not show in the Windows Add/Remove Programs list when this Asset is in a Security Group with Prevention enabled.

This is by design, if IPS prevention is enabled, the DCS Agent will not be shown in the Add/Remove Programs.

If you need to remove the Agent, you will have to disable IPS prevention first.
