Integrating CA NIM SM with ServiceNow receives permission error in the nimlog file

ERROR common.GenericSOAPDispatchService: javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException thrown in Invoke With Retry: Exception Message: 'com.glide.processors.soap.SOAPProcessingException: Field(s) present in the query do not have permission to be read'

Resolution

This means that the User does not have the permission which is required to access the dictionary service.

The ServiceNow Administrator needs to add or fix the Role security privilege. The user needs 3 roles in ServiceNow.
