Java Console Unable to store Certificate upon login to Data Center Security Server: Advanced (DCS) since upgrading to DCS 6.9.2

Issue/Introduction

The Java Console is unable to store the certificate upon every login

Environment

Data Center Security Server: Advanced 6.9.2

Cause

• There's an issue in the DCS 6.9.2 console where the 'certs' folder is missing from the console directory

C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Console\

• Even if 'certs' folder already exists, it requires Administrative right access to save cert file in 'certs' folder.

Resolution

Create the 'certs' folder in the following path if it is missing:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Data Center Security Server\Console\

Or launch Java console with administrative right if certs folder already exists.
