Is it possible to create a Detector for Db2 for z/OS (PDT) batch report referencing data currently in the process of being collected in the current active interval?
The data being collected in the current interval is contained within the Xmanager address space and is not actually captured into a dataset until that interval has ended.
After the current interval has ended and the data externalized, it may then be accessed through the SSID historical interval data (option 2) on the Detector Main Menu panel,
or through a batch report execution. At the time the data is current being collected in the current interval, it is not possible to access the current interval information via a batch report execution.
An alternative would be to use the QFILE or PFILE commands from the Detector for Db2 for z/OS command line to capture to a dataset the desired information from the
online display of SSID current interval data (option 1). The QPRINT or PPRINT commands can also be used to print the information as well.
