Issue/Introduction

We are receiving an alarm for 

THE REX CONNECTOR PROCESS DIED

The rex connector process was down.

 

Environment

Release : All Supported Versions

Component : Spectrum Integrations

Cause

Because IP Routing Manager is not used

Resolution

As you are not using the IP Routing Manager move the REXCON.IDB file from %SPECROOT%/lib/SDPM/partslist folder to any other folder.

Recycle the spectroserver and process daemon services

cd SS/bin
./stopSS.pl

cd lib/SDPM
./processd restart

cd SS/bin
./startSS.pl

Now the RexConnector will not start.
