Issue/Introduction

How can we generate a report for all the devices that have Network Configuration Manager (NCM) enabled and the status whether it is failed or successful?

There is an Optional NCM Report pack that allows this, specified under:

TechDocs : DX NetOps Spectrum 21.2 : Report Types

Cause

We don't have any NCM reports out of the box (OOB), as per:

KB : The Report Manager documentation references an optional report pack for Network Configuration Manager (NCM) – Where can I find this for optional report pack for NCM

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum Release : 20.2 or later
JasperReports 6.4.3 or later

Resolution

Create a GC with NCM enabled attribute set for the search criteria:

Then run a report against that GC. But there aren't any attributes on the device model itself that would indicate success or failure of the NCM config capture itself. This is only on the NCM policy model.

For example, on the Policy model will be:

NCM_Policy_Failed_List

0x82006a

Model Handle[]

This will list out the model handles of the failed devices.
