Issue/Introduction

Your data center is updating JES2 to use 5 digit job numbers.  Does the product support this?  Are there parameter or exits that need to be addressed?

Resolution

There are no special actions, such as parameters or exits, that need to be taken for OPS/MVS to recognize the 5-digit job numbers.   This capability was introduced to OPS/MVS several releases ago.  5-digit job numbers can be used without any expectation that there will be a problem with your OPS/MVS system.
