After upgrade to 16.0.2 the System PPM content add-in remains on 16.0.1

Issue/Introduction

After the environment upgrade to 16.0.2, the System: PPM content remains in 16.0.1 version. Would this pose a problem?

Release : 16.0.2

Component : Clarity Install and Upgrade

Cause

Investigated as DE65333 and concluded as an expected functionality with a recent change in the clarity content upgrade scripts. In the past the clarity content add-in was applied even if it was not changing between minor releases, this change would save a few valuable minutes during upgrade.

Resolution

The clarity content add-in is part of the base image and does not get re-applied every release unless it changes. The installed version will reflect the last time the add-in content was installed during upgrade. PPM Content add-in does not change release-to-release and will only be upgraded if there were changes made between minor release versions.
