TLSV1.2 changes didn't work for EEM R12.51: Invalid SSL protocol 'tlsv12'

Issue/Introduction

AutoSys 11.3.6 SP2 EEM R12.51 not supporting TLS 1.2 we were recommended to make these changes:

  • Edit /opt/CA/SharedComponents/iTechnology/igateway.conf to change <secureProtocol/> to <secureProtocol>TLSV1_2</secureProtocol>.
  • Edit /opt/CA/SharedComponents/CADirectory/dxserver/config/ssld/itechpoz.dxc change:

                protocol = tls

            to

                protocol = tlsv12

However both igateway and itechpoz failed to start.  We believe the igateway problem was unrelated, but the itechpoz problem was definitely not happy with the change:

Please advise.

Environment

Release : 11.3.6 

Component :EEM R12.51

Resolution

TLSV1.2 is not supported by EEM with R12.51.3.14

Plan to Upgrade to Minimum of R12.6 EEM.
