"Windows 10 Pro for Workstations" clients not displaying on Home page Endpoint Status

Issue/Introduction

Client Online count is wrong in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) Home Screen > Endpoint Status, and may sometimes show a negative number.

Also, In the Virus Definitions Distribution Report, Operating System is Shown as Unknown OS 

Environment

• SEPM 14.3 RU4 and later
• SEP client is installed on "Windows 10 Pro for Workstations"

Cause

SEP client that is installed on "Windows 10 Pro for Workstations" is sending the incorrect R_OS_TYPE value (-1593180158 instead of 2701787138) to the SEPM causing them to not be counted in the status.

Resolution

The code fix for this issue will be integrated in the next release of SEP 14.3 RU8 version.
