Issue/Introduction

We are currently having the 7 days of View Submitted tasks and after that we are running the Task persistence clean up activity. 

So we would like to extend that from 7 days to 15 days before enabling we would like to get recommended options from you because we had an issue in 14.2 CP5 if we keep 15 days audit data all our IDM tasks are going in-progress then Broadcom recommended to keep only 7 days logs. 

Now we have upgraded from 14.2 to 14.3 CP3. So kindly let us know what is the recommended audit data we can keep also any other fine tuning required before extend?

Resolution

The view submitted tasks are not for auditing or record keeping.

  We have the auditing feature and task archive feature for that.

  Task persistence (view submitted tasks) is not a reporting tool and should be kept in the current clean up cycle to ensure smooth operation of the product.
