Since this is mainly about DX Platform, parts of this knowledge document may also apply to Application Performance Management (APM) and Operational Intelligence (OI).

DX Platform includes DX APM, DX OI, and DX AXA.
This gives an overview of the upgrade process.
Some choices that you will have to make:
- User account used during the upgrade -- Cluster Administrator or Cluster Reader.
- Upgrade paths:
Upgrading from 17.3.2 is not supported.

- If the existing Jarvis data is on the local storage, decide to continue using the local storage or migrate the Jarvis data to NFS.
Best Practices:
- A cleaned up, working environment is recommended before performing any upgrade.
- Allow at least a six hour change window for an upgrade
