Issue/Introduction

CEM's CEMCSRVR STC abends at startup with SA03.

 

Environment

Release : 6.0

Component : COMPLIANCE EVENT MANAGER

Cause

The platform's TCPIP stack and or ENF task were not fully initialized prior to the startup CEM's CEMCSRVR task.

Resolution

It was determined that Automation start up delays may have caused the initial abends.  It is imperative that the TCPIP address and the ENF task (Protocol=Both as defined in CEM's CUSTOM.PARMLIB(CEMESPRM) member) are fully initialized before starting the CEMCSRVR task.
