CAUAJM_E_00088 Unable to Start Services on Autosys Server

Issue/Introduction

Autosys services never starts and below error is evident in event_demon.log.

[05/27/2022 20:26:16]      CAUAJM_E_00088 Could not get host information for [xxxxxxxxx.].  Not started.

 

Cause

The issue occurs on Windows server when it fails to resolve its own IP. 

Environment

Release : All Supported Versions

Component : CA WAAE

Resolution

Add a line to /etc/hosts with the IP of the box that should resolve the issue. If it already exists then you may have to work with your "Network Admin" to make the Windows resolve its own IP.
