Issue/Introduction

Can a product version be upgraded by applying all PTFs without installing the product?

For example;
Is it possible to apply all PTFs to V18.0 and change the version to V18.1 without installing V18.1?

Component : Endevor Software Change Manager

Cause

z/OS

Resolution

To upgrade to V18.1, a full installation is required.
It is not possible to upgrade to V18.1 by applying all V18.0 PTFs.
