How do we upgrade from CABI (JasperSoft) 6.4.3 to 7.9.1.x on Linux using a silent install?

Environment

Spectrum 21.2.x
CABI (JasperSoft) 6.4.3 on Linux

 

Resolution

This is a two-step upgrade process consisting of the following steps:

The upgrade path is

• Upgrade CABI 6.4.3 to CABI 7.1.1.1
• Upgrade CABI 7.1.1.1 to 7.9.1.1
  
  

It's important that a CABI content export is done prior to any upgrade. Before the 7.1.1.1 to 7.9.1.1 upgrade a user must follow the pre-requisites mentioned here:
