When upgrading to Vantage 14.1 SMP/E APPLY is receiving link-edit errors for SYSMOD CCTUE10 involving module VANDBINP.

Issue/Introduction

I'm installing CA-Vantage 14.1 and in the APPLY job VAN30APB I'm receiving RC=12 with the following errors:

Cause

The 'SCCNOBJ' DDDEF is either missing, or pointing to an incorrect data set. 

Resolution

In CA Vantage 14.0 the following PTFs were provided which introduced the new DDDEF 'SCCNOBJ':

RO89383
RO97682 (PE)
RO98197 (PRP for PE RO97682)

To resolve the issue of this case, this DDDEF needs to be defined (or referencing the correct data set name). Here is the cover letter text from the most recent PTF (RO98197) involved with its definition: 

1.Before the SMP/E APPLY command, check in your Vantage SMP/E environment whether the target zone includes the DDDEF type definition with name SCCNOBJ.                                                             
   To check, use the following SMP/E commands and review the SMP/E output:

                                                    
  SET BDY(CAIT0).                                                      
  LIST DDDEF (SCCNOBJ).                                                
                                                                       
2. If the SCCNOBJ DDDEF points to the correct data set, no further action is needed. The data set name is "prefix_CLIB_PREFIX.SCCNOBJ" where "prefix_CLIB_PREFIX" is an environment variable with the default value of "CBC".
                                                                       
3. If the SCCNOBJ DDDEF was not found, create the entry as follows (make sure to use SHR as the disposition):

4.If the DDDEF exists, but points to the wrong library, use 'REP' in the above UCLIN, instead of 'ADD'.
