How to free a Virtual Resource Manager (VRM) resource count (RCT) resource from a CA 7 job?

Resolution

The PRSCF command is used to free a RCT resource.  There are 2 ways to free a resource count resource (RCT) from a job using the PRSCF command.

If the job is not in the Request, Ready or Active queue you will enter the following command:

  PRSCF,JOB=jobname,RSRC=resource

If the job is currently in Ready queue with a status of W-RSRC, you will enter the following command:

  PRSCF,JOB=jobname,RSRC=resource,FORCE=YES
