Stop monitoring a robot with UIM

Issue/Introduction

Please provide steps to stop monitoring a CA Agent (robot) from UIM instead of uninstalling it from the server.

 

Environment

Release : 20.3 or higher

Component : UIM - REBOOT

Cause

Resolution

1. Add "Automatically unregister from HUB at shutdown" to controller. This is for all OS's. (image 1 attached to KB)
2. For Windows: open services, open properties on Nimbus robot watcher, press stop, then change startup type to ‘Disabled.’ (image 2 attached to KB)
3. For Linux: /etc/init.d/nimbus stop
 mv /etc/init.d/nimbus/  /opt/nimsoft/
