Where does the EDCHEK (%EJCK or !JCK) function get the runtime options from?

Resolution

  • JCLDFLT module out-of-the box or modified by usermod MZ1C024. 

  • EDCHKDD DD data set that is allocated to your TSO/ISPF session.

  • EDCHEK options panel. This panel (panel id JCK21) is displayed by entering command %EJCK PANEL.

  • MCOSYS option, if specified.

  • MCOUSR option, if specified.

A list of options in effect is displayed in the JCLCheck job listing.
