Issue/Introduction

Datacom/DB IVP job BDIVP02 or Datacom/AD IVP job AXIVP02 fails with "SQLCODE = -117, SQLSTATE=, DB RETURN CODE = 01(175)".

Resolution

The IVP job exercises the installation of the Datacom SQL option.

Assure that the Datacom SQL component is installed and also that the Datacom Multi-User (MUF) startup options include:

   SQLDEFAULT 016,CASQLDEFAULT       SQL DBID,ENT-NAME(SQL ONLY)           
   SQLOPTION  YES,017,DATACOM,120,NO SQL,TTM DBID,MODE,TIMEOUT,VIEW SECRTY

Additional Information

If your Datacom/DB license does not include the SQL option or you are using Datacom/AD with a product which does not use the SQL component, then you do not need to run this IVP job and there is no further concern.
