Issue/Introduction

I noticed this morning that the OC indicated there were 0 Monitored Devices in the last 30 minutes.  Looking at the status of the hub probe, I don't see a queue for the data_engine that I normally expect to see.  I am still getting alerts from UIM, and I see other queues filling and emptying.

I don't seem to be able to generate any metric views for groups or devices.

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - DATA_ENGINE

Resolution

Check to make sure the data_engine is still deployed to the primary hub, and if missing deploy it. 

The queue can be manually created:
IM console > primary hub > configure > Queues > New 
Name: data_engine
Type: attach
Subject: QOS_MESSAGE,QOS_DEFINITION
OK > Apply

Then at the hub configure Status tab check the queue. Initially it will be yellow until data_engine has finished initialization.
