Issue/Introduction

Is there a JCL sample that can be used to apply the Preventive Maintenance PTF after the implementation of Common Services r15.0?

Resolution

To apply the Preventive Maintenance PTF, the following JCL members of the prefix.SAMPJCL are available.

1. AW060RCH : Download the HOLD file required by AW070RCM; if you do not have the HOLD file, use this JCL to obtain it. 

2. AW070RCM : RECEIVE the preventive maintenance PTF.
 
3. AW080APM : APPLY preventive maintenance PTF. *1 *2
 
*1 It is recommended that the specified FMID is combined with AW020RCB, AW030APB and AW040ACB.
*2 The application of the preventive maintenance PTF can be considered complete when the AW080APM is used to APPLY the PTF.
 The AW090ACM is not required to perform the ACCEPT process.
