Issue/Introduction

A large environment with over 30,000 investments and a relatively large number of records in the Picklist item positions table is causing the 'Delete Investments and Time Reporting Periods' job to fail with deadlocks. 

Prerequisites: 

  1. Large environments with 30000 plus investments 
  2. Large number of records in the ODF_ITEM_POSITIONS table 

Steps to Reproduce: 

  1. Mark some investments for deletion 
  2. Execute the 'Delete Investments and Time Reporting Periods' job 

Expected Results: Job should successfully complete. 

Actual Results: Job fails with deadlock error on "something happened while cleaning up picklists".
