Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Issue/Introduction

How do I access and use External Filters (EXTFLTDS) in the WebUI?   I can do this in the Windows Client easily - create them, update them, etc. in TSO, and then access and use them in the Windows Client.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : Vantage Storage Resource Manager

Resolution

The Action 'Manage Filters' opens the External Filter Manager in the Windows Client, but this has not been implemented in the MTC-M client yet, but is planned to be added in the future. It is possible though to edit an external filter or create a new one.  There is the 'Insert Filter', 'Insert Class' and 'Save Filter' functionality implemented in object configuration,  but this requires using the newer version of MTC-M (ideally 14.1.1).
