Strange format of object links when using Excel/CSV export

Article ID: 242175

Updated On:

Clarity PPM On Premise

From within Classic PPM, Home, Projects List, the Export to Excel or Export to CSV is generating a malformed link. Manually navigating to the object results in the well-formatted link. This means only Excel/CSV exports seem to be impacted by this strange format.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into the Clarity Classic UI
  2. Select Home -> Portfolio Management -> Projects
  3. Expand the filter button then click the configuration button then select Export to CSV
  4. Open the exported CSV file in Microsoft Excel

Expected Results: The project column is a well formatted link that contains the get parameters: .../niku/nu#action:projmgr.projectDefaultTab&id=5065225

Actual Results: The URL contains strange HTML encoded parts that can be parsed by clarity but not by custom HTML portlets that expect &id=5065225. .../niku/nu#action:projmgr.projectDefaultTab&id=5065225

Release : 16.0.1, 16.0.2

Component : Clarity Studio

DE64949 - While constructing the URI the above method uses '&' instead of '&' to join the different parameter-value pairs.

Targeted Fix in Release 16.0.3
