Issue/Introduction

The following error message is received when trying to view the Action Diagram within a 2E model

The failing program appears to be YCPYMSGR3C in library Y2SY.

Environment

CA 2E 8.7.x

Resolution

Check the value in the YW2ELIB (“Web Option product library”) Model value.  This value should be the Web option Environment created as a result of the YCRTW2EENV command, but not any other value.

CASE #1:

Value in YW2ELIB can be *NONE, if there is no Webopton setup for the Model Library.

OR

CASE #2:

Value in the YW2ELIB should be the name of the Web option Environment created as a result of the YCRTW2EENV command if there is a Webopton setup for the Model.

YDSPMDLVAL Command

If you setup a false value for “Y2WEB” in the Model value “YW2ELIB” other than the actual Web option Environment library, the error will appear.

2E programs look for the “YW2EPRDRFA” data area, which by default is created in the Web option Environment library during Environment creation.

If the data area “YW2EPRDRFA“ is not found in the library provided in the YW2ELIB or in the library list, this will result in the CPD0078 (Value for parameter DTAARA not a valid name) error.
