Invalid device credentials error adding a Reporter device to Management Center

Issue/Introduction

Adding a Reporter device in Management Center results in the error 'Invalid device credentials' when testing the connection.

Cause

The error message is misleading.

Management Center requires access to the Reporter device over port 22 in addition to port 8082.

Management Center has access to Reporter over port 8082, but port 22 is being denied by another device such as a firewall.

Resolution

Allow Management Center access to Reporter over both ports 22 and 8082.
