Primary hub Wasp probe unable to start

Issue/Introduction

I have installed UIM in my environment. The installation had completed till the last part where wasp failed to start. I was unable to access to http://<IP_address>/uimhome/ due to wasp unable to start.

I had tried to deactivate, activate the probe and restart the probe from UIM, but was unsuccessful. I resorted in deleting the probe and installing it from the Archive. The probe did start, but was still unable to access http://<IP_address>/uimhome/ 

When, I proceed to install the operatorconsole, the wasp fail to start.

Environment

Release : 20.3

Component : UIM - UMP_ADMINCONSOLE2

Cause

The wasp.log for the admin console show the below error:

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The main resource set specified [D:\Nimsoft\probes\service\wasp\webapps\uimhome] is not valid

Resolution

Reinstall the primary hub to resolve the corruption.
