API-1007 error when trying to preview Status Report

Issue/Introduction

When trying to preview the Status Report in the Modern UX, you get the following error:

API-1007 : You are not authorized to process request. Contact your system administrator for necessary security rights.

Cause

The user trying to preview the Status report do not have enough rights.

Environment

Release : 16.0.1

Component : Studio

Resolution

Assign the applicable "Status Report" rights (depending on your needs), such as the following Global rights:

• Status Report - Create: Allows resource to create Status Report objects.
• Status Report - Delete: All Allows resource to delete all Status Report objects.
• Status Report - Edit All: Allows resource to edit all Status Report objects. This includes the page navigation right.
• Status Report - View All: Allows resource to view all Status Report objects. This includes the page navigation right.
• Status Report - Xog Access: Allows user to import and export Status Report instances using the XML Open Gateway interface.

or the following Instance rights:

• Status Report - Delete: Allows resource to delete specific Status Report objects.
• Status Report - Edit: Allows resource to edit specific Status Report objects.
• Status Report - View: Allows resource to view specific Status Report objects.
