UT010004 and UT006011 errors in FASTLOAD

Issue/Introduction

An IDMS FASTLOAD is getting the following errors:

UT010004 Recid 778 does not match set index        INDEX       6
...
UT006011 MISSING INPUT OWNER DESCRIPTOR FOR MEMBER WITH DBKEY: 1375286:75

Environment

Release : All supported releases.
Component : IDMS/DB

Cause

The FASTLOAD format program was not correctly populating the OWNER descriptor records.

Resolution

In the FASTLOAD documentation (scroll down to Owner descriptors), it is stated that for CALC owners that allow duplicates, the format program must process the owner record first and save the serial number from its record descriptor and put it in field 2 of the relevant member's owner descriptor.

What is not made clear is that the value of the owner's calc key must still be populated in field 3 as it is for record's whose owner is CALC and does not allow duplicates.

Not doing this will result in the above errors.
